New Sears Stores Opening

In A Press Release From Sears Holdings website, the company plans on opening new Sears Home and Life locations in Anchorage, Alaska, Overland Park, Kansas and Lafayette Louisiana. The store will be around 10,000 to 15,000 Square Feet and will be similar to the Sears Appliances and Mattress stores that opened in 2017. Appliances, Mattress and Connected Home Products will be products carried in the store. The stores will also feature a Welcome Service Desk, Sears Buy Online Search Bar Kiosk, Free Store Pick Up on any purchase From Sears.Com, In Vehicle Pickup, and Sears Home Service. Anchorage, Alaska store will not have Mattress and In Vehicle Pickup. I don't know why Sears is trying to push this concept since they already had this concept with the Sears Appliance and Hardware which that was spin-off from Sears in 2012. I don't know why they are trying to push this instead of the 60,000 Square Feet Oakbrook store which is a much better store idea in my opinion. The stores are expected to open on Memorial Day weekend.
