Sears Holdings Closing 80 Stores

Sears Holdings announced yesterday they would close 80 stores as they continue there life in bankruptcy court. Liquidation sales begin in 2 weeks in the stores will close in Late-March. Some good news out of yesterday is that Eddie Lampert has actually summited a bid to buy Sears Holdings. He hasn't bought the company yet but it's some fresh air for a little bit.   1. Crystal City was also the last of the Venture acquisitions. Grants and Venture were the 2 largest amount of stores Kmart replaced, but now there are no more Kmart's who originally started as Venture.
