North Riverside Park Mall, North Riverside Park Mall

The North Riverside Park Mall opened in 1975 with 3 anchors, JcPenney, Carson's and Montgomery Ward. This mall is triving but it's been under a massive threat. On the original JcPenney closing list in 2017, the North Riverside Park Mall location was one the last. However, North Riverside and Yorktown in Lombard actually survived the list. In November of 2017, a second hit was made to the mall as Sears was that the Sears was downsizing the store closing the first floor but keeping the second floor opened and they remolded the second floor. And in April 2018, it was announced that Carson's would go out of buisness which means the mall should be dying right? In fact, it's the busiest mall I've ever been to yet Gurnee Mills is bigger and should be busier? Nope, not as busy as North Riverside. I went to this mall on a Saturday and was absoultly shock how packed it was, let's take a look at North Riverside Park Mall.

Thanks for reading this Threatening Mall.
