Kmart Corp. Shopping Center, Broadview Village Square

In the Early 90's, Kmart decided to built numbers of shopping center with there stores, Kmart, Builders Square, Sports Authority, Office Max, Borders, and Pace Membership Warehouse. In a way, this wasn't a Kmart built shopping center but did including number of there stores. In 1993, construction started on Broadview Village Square. The Shopping center would sit on the former Komatsu dresser Plant. The shopping center was called at that Broadview Village Center and was the largest power shopping center in the Chicago area, of course there's bigger ones now. Broadview Village would include Super Kmart, Home Depot, PetSmart, Sports Authority, Marshalls and a Target Greatland. In 2003, the Super Kmart closed and the Target moves to the former Super Kmart and the Target Greatland sat vacant. Ashley Homestore and LA Fitness took over the space. In 2016, Sports Authority closed when it went out of buisness. The Sports Authority is now becoming a Ross Dress for Less. Lets take a look at the shopping center.
