Shopko has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and is closing more stores. This comes as no surprised as they've been struggling with very few customers in there stores. The List of stores is confusing but I've decided to only put the ones announced with today's announcement as it includes stores from older list and older announcements.

This list is much worst than Kmart and Sears list in my opinion. Kmart and Sears have never closed 3 stores in 1 city at one time. I was also surprised that both Madison, Wisconsin stores were put on the list since there profitable locations and right across the street from East and West Towne Mall. With this list, Shopko will be exiting Lincoln, Nebraska, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Madison, Wisconsin. All have high populating with numerous Shopko stores. How Dubuque survived the list to me is unbelievable since it wasn't profitable and it's real estate is worth way more than the buisness. That's why I belive both Madison stores were closing cause they were profitable stores. Stay turn however as we could be seeing more store closings.
