Retail Look: The Last Sears in Chicago closing.

This Sears at Six Corners opened in 1938 as the major store for the Six Cornors Shopping Center. While other Sears in the city closed, Six Corners Sears stayed but in January, it was announced that the Sears at Six Corners would close in Mid-July. This is a major problem via location. While it's not with parking or it's in a bad location. It's that 2 Kmart locations are located within 15 minute of this location. The Addison St Kmart is 6 minutes away while the Norridge location is 13 minutes away. I would go to the Norridge location due to the Carson's going out of buisness right across the street but I promise I'll get to the Kmart on Addison Street. The stores liquidation began on April 27, however, these photos are one April 20th, show's how backed up I am. This is a massive Sears location about 5 stories tall. Let's take a look at this store. I also promise to come back during the liquidation so expect this to be updated then.
 Looks very 1930's!

Easily the best Electronics section I've ever seen at a Sears.

 5 Stories, Yes!

 Looks classic!

Store has a rare now Watch and Jewerly repair

 Classic old Department store!
